Just a fun fact. In Germany, Transport Tycoon was many years ago re-released as some sort of a low bugdet version from the Green Pepper label.
Apparently, they decided to advertise the game with screenshots from the PS1 version. The front cover seeems to be also a mirrored variant of the PS1 front cover.

I'm still wondering why MicroProse did not implemented something like SPI/BSPI industry.
Thay could even make limit for demand resources like: demand x tons monthly the same way like production: x tons monthly.

In 2000 the Windows version of TTD was rereleased in the "5 Pack Volume 2" by Beau Jolly. The back of the box also shows images of the PlayStation version of TTO. They really didn't know what they were doing...
