Coro Coro's resort takes up its entire shoreline, with beaches, restaurants, hotels and an amusement park. It is conveniently located just minutes from the airport offering flights from all over the world.

Reminds me of that one Norwegian billionaire who said he wasn't worried about climate change, since it would only bring the coastline a litte bit closer to his terrace. Good for him. The island workers are less pleased.

I forgot to vote .. Quast65 would have still won but who else I would have voted for a hard to say. I liked Skiddlows plantation but unfortunately pal you forgot to include any water. If you did the plantation near a water or rivers I think a lot more would have voted for you.

Some of the other themes reminded me of objects I haven't finished in my object sets.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone ... here my entry for this festive season ...
It is Christmas Time at the freight rail hub of Cochrane, Ontario, Canada, operated by Ontario Northland Railway [ONR], on a freezing minus 40° C day ... At this time of the year, a lot of cargo has to be shifted. There is paper from the Kapuskasing paper mill to the printing works at Englehart. Also, timber harvesting at Hearst is in full swing, as heavy vehicles can only access the tundra forests when the ground is frozen solid; so for ONR, it is very vital to exploit the timber resources of Northern Ontario, as timber, lumber and paper has to get to markets. Very important, too, is the supply of mail, heating oil, diesel fuel, petrol, aviation jet fuel, groceries and general cargo to the local communities; not to forget getting passengers to their destination.

Ontario Northland Railway operate from the terminus at North Bay in the south, via Cochrane, and on to its northern terminus at Moosonee, as well as to Kapuskasing, Hearst and Timmins to name a few. As Moosonee cannot be reached by road, the Polar Bear Express is an essential mixed transportation service for passengers, mail and general cargo. It is just being shunted to the station platform, to get ready for its daily 6 hour journey to Moosonee. The Snowplow is also just heading off to clear any snow that fell overnight, while several heavy freight trains are waiting for their journey down to North Bay ...

Christmas is a great time to get together and share, in the town of Davenport they follow it to the letter as its inhabitants gather on the beach to admire the island's large Christmas tree. This tree attracts the attention of the numerous cruise ships with tourists that come to the coast every year to be part of this great Christmas party.

Must be Australia or New Zealand when people are out on the beach and even in the water for Christmas 8)

In fact it is based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I was traveling in 2014 for the Christmas and New Year holidays and all the people gather on the beach, the cruise ships approach the coasts and the government prepares large floating rafts with 14 tons of fireworks that shoot over 20 minutes.

Thank you! :)

Maybe it is my lack of imagination, but I do like the idea of kicking of the new year with a free-for-all give-me-your-best-Transport-Tycoon screenshot of any kind. Hoping for lots of (different) entries!
