Replacing Dave, huh ?Pilot wrote:Many thanks for the welcome guys
Will it turn green ?
(also, for Nations Game, I think we need a pause-unpause mechanism somehow XD)

Replacing is a strong term. Following in the footsteps of much preferred.

Re: New moderator
Congrats on the promotion Pilot
Speaking of the Nations Game, I'd like to see it restarted too. However I think it needs some changes - it got too complex and bloated towards the end which stripped away some of the fun and made it too daunting for new players to join. And like YNM said, a way to pause time if no one posts would be a good idea - how about if 1 day is 1 game year, but the year only advances if someone actually makes a post that day.
Anyway if it does get restarted, count me in

Re: New moderator
This thread might be a good opportunity to learn about how the username "pilot" came about. Just curious.

Re: New moderator
That's probably better off in the "Thread of Randomness" or similar.

Re: New moderator
It's been my dream in life since I was rather young to become a Pilot (preferably Commercial), currently not there yet, and working on the railways instead - though I'm hopeful that I can change that in the futureTrain<In>Vain wrote:This thread might be a good opportunity to learn about how the username "pilot" came about.
