Ok here comes the
Bering Strait
256x512 so it's Internet-play-safe.
Notice you must use the nightlies to play it as 0.5.1 refused to load it up!
Most towns are acurate, some industries are accurate too (a couple of coalmines that is) others are placed in the most likely positions.
Forests are taken from a map, a lot of locations are labeled.
So some designers have already designed the Bering Bridge now it's time for you to build it!

Early 1900's Devon Scenario
Ive made a scenario of Devon from the early 1900's . Every single town served by either the GWR or the Southern Region is on this map . It is a very large map of the county and ive tried to be as accurate as possible baring in mind you can only zoom out so far so the rest is almost guesswork when you are planting towns !!!
This really is for the rail enthusiasts of Devon and you can now start at 1921 and build up the rail network as it was before the 1962 Beeching axe hit all the counties branch lines .
**UPDATED 15th May**

I've made a scenario from the German "Baden" area, along the river Rhine from Offenburg to Darmstadt. Done with grayscale map from the fancy google earth/DEM-thing, all city's over 10.000 inhabitants are placed where they should be.
The scenario plays in a futuristic time, where global warming has struck hard in Europe so that the Rhine has dryed out and the due to sea level rising, the North Sea has spread to the Citys of Mannheim and Ludwigshafen. The remaining dry valley of the rhine became desert, hilly landscapes, such as the Black Forest, became Jungles.
SIZE: 512 x 1024
CLIMATE: Sub-Tropical (~ 40% desert, 60% rain forest)
NUMBER OF TOWNS: 66
NUMBER OF INDUSTRIES: few
START YEAR: 1935

Whe're you from Psistorm? Its subtropical because i had no ambitions to draw all the rivers by hand and personally i don't linke the temperate climate. The towns become so big so fast and the idustry tree in sub-tropical is more interesting to me. But I hope you will enjoy playing it even if it is subtropical
i have a bit of a request. I really enjoy real-life maps and there was one I found on this section of europe with towns only. really good map and enjoy playing this. I was wondering if anyone could do a town only map for me of western europe. As big as you like, up to and including Italy... so half of poland etc...
Hope that makes sense.

Im from baden-baden (sinzheim/kartung to be 100% exact) - studying in Berlin atm though. but I dont want to stray too far off-topicFry3k wrote:Whe're you from Psistorm? Name: Germany: The Network
Climate: Temperate

Your in-charge of the railways in Germany, and the last owner of the railways managed to destroy all the old track, so the task has been left to you to connect all the 17 major cities of Germany. Space has been provided for a railway station in each city. There are plenty of small and medium villages and towns to connect between them, with smaller villages located around the outskirts of each city, potentially candidates for an S-Bahn line.
I reccomend you use DBSetXL to go with the german town names

It's probably technically possible to do so, but it's way too much work to do.dave_ger wrote:So no chance to get it converted?? (Pleeaase don't disappoint me :/ )
It's already outdated and obsolete; the only reason why you would like to play MiniIN is because of (broken) subsidaries and (broken) PBS.White Rabbit wrote:The MiniIN isn't so bad, you know. :P
I can't create scenarios for nuts! do you guys use like a special tool or something or you must just be extremely talented. I think that all these scenarios should be archived. make a sticky where people JUST POST THE SCENARIOS and dont make any comments. Then they won't get lost and forgotten like a lot of them already have............................
All politicians are bad, you just need to know which ones are the worst.

Japan Map Version 2
Version 2 of my previously released japan map. In this version the cities have been reduced to sizes reflecting their historical sizes in 1920 instead of being based on 2006 population statistics. Further the graphs have been tweaked a bit to be a bit more pleasent on the eyes. Plus the oil rigs to simulate oil imports are now a littel outside the big port areas, to reduce the long travel times for tankes and reduce lag. I posted this as a new post, as I still want the other versions to be availabe.
Japan Map
2048x2048
Japan map from Hokkaido to Kyushu. Unfortunately parts of Hokkaido and Kyushu missing.
Towns included from population of 125.000 (in 2006)
Populations on map @ 0.1% of 1920 population.
Industy & Raw Materials Spread Realistic.
Oil Rigs around port areas to simulate oil import.
Difficulty:Medium
